Katiuscia is a geographer with over 20 years of global experience in the development and humanitarian fields, with deep knowledge in the fields of climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction and sustainable development. She worked with several UN and international organizations across Africa, Asia and the Pacific with a focus on vulnerability reduction, food security, strengthening resilience and last mile climate services. Increasingly, Katiuscia’s work has focused on the use of participatory approaches to bridge the divide between scientific information and local action to enable the co-development of locally-led solutions. She is the Executive Producer and co-founder of the ‘Ready or Not, Change is Coming’ podcast, a 12-episode podcast on the impacts of climate change and featuring interviews with key experts to discuss solutions and local action.
Her work with the IRMA team has included country level and portfolio evaluations on climate services, early warning systems and climate change adaptation.
