Update of UNHCR’s Preparedness Package for Refugee Emergencies

UNHCR’s Emergency Preparedness Unit (DESS) conctrated IRMA to update the Preparedness Package for Refugee Emergencies (PPRE-2), (i) applying recent lessons learned in the organization ; (ii) integrating more effectively UNHCR’s commitments on such core issues as the centrality of protection, quality programming, cross-cutting issues, alternatives to camps, cash and local level preparedness and (iii) improving the flexibility of the workflow, aligned for coherence with UNHCR’s Policies and Operational Guidelines, and with the IASC ERP approach.
